Classic Hats were the standard in Victorian millinery because they could be worn with almost any hairstyle, for any occasion. These classic styles were used throughout the day in all situations. Also known as Tea Hats, they were used for SOCIETY OUTINGS, festive occasions like engagement parties, and at other daytime functions. All the Classic Hats come with a coordinating parasol and a simple pearl hatpin.
If you want a red trimmed hat or a red trimmed hat with green feathers, we can make the hat for you. Choose from the colors listed below. White or cream, natural or white 'straw' are the choices for our Classic hat bases. The 'straw' is an open weave material not real straw. For true straw hats go to our Specialty Collection. A variety of materials are used in our hats. Materials are chosen for the appearance and durability.
